The Irish Powerlifting Federation national team will be competing at the IPF world championship in Texas.

A team of 20 lifters age between 17 to 40 have been selected to represent our nation for the first time in over a decade.

Powerlifting is currently waiting approval from the Olympic committee and was recently accepted to the World mini games and commonwealth games both major factors fro IOC approval.

Due the this reason we do not have the funding to pay for our national squad to go. Personal sponsors are critical for athletes to compete at international level.

To help our athletes raise as much money as possible to represent our great country and build the foundation for an Olympic team we are allow personal company logos on our National team training tops.

These will be work at all training camps and lifters will wear them at all individual photo opportunities. We will also add logo’s on to our international team poster and newsletter.
