We have made two changes to the calendar for the end of 2017.

1. We have offered tickets to all lifters who were on the waiting list for the November Open in Revolution Fitness (as of this morning). Depending on uptake, this will result in a third session being added to the Saturday of the November Open, it will take place in the evening with likely weigh-in times being 1500–1630 and lifting taking place from 1700–2100. There will be no more waiting list for the November Open and no further lifters will be accepted beyond those who were offered tickets this morning.

2. We have added a Final Chance competition for lifters aiming to post a Nationals 2018 qualifying total before the end of 2017. This competition will be held in CityGym, Limerick on Sunday, December 10th. It is strictly capped to 56 lifters (one day, two sessions) and tickets will go on sale at 19:00 Irish time on Monday, September 11th (tomorrow) here.

Lifters competing in the All Ireland Championship do not need to enter these events as All Ireland totals will count towards Nationals qualifying.

Nationals Invitations will be finalised on the evening of Sunday, December 10th after the Final Chance competition and will be sent to lifters before 13:00 Irish time on Monday, December 11th.
