Invitations to the IPF Juniors & Masters Nationals 2018 have been sent out to eligible lifters.

This currently includes any lifter who has posted a valid total in the Irish Powerlifting Federation from October 2017 to July 2018 and is, for the 2018 competition year, in one of the following categories:

• Sub-Junior
• Junior
• Master 1
• Master 2
• Master 3
• Master 4

The first round of invites have just under two weeks, until July 31st 2018, to confirm their entry by purchasing a competition entry using the link they have been sent.

If the competition does not sell out after this first round of invites then we will consider entrants who satisfy alternative criteria on an invitation-only basis.

FAQ

I’ve competed at a competition and think I should have received an invite but I don’t have one. What should I do?

Firstly, double check your spam/junk mail and look for a mail with the subject “Invitation to Compete at IPF Juniors & Masters National Championships 2018” from the Irish Powerlifting Federation.

If you still can’t see a mail, then please email championships@irishpowerliftingfederation.com and include the relevant details of the competition total which you think we should be considering (date of competition and your name, email, and total should suffice).

I’m not sure if I’m a Sub-Junior, Junior, Master 1/2/3/4 this year. What should I do?

Consult our handy table which lets you figure out your 2018 competition age by just looking up your year of birth.

When do I have to enter by?

July 31st 2018.

What do I have to wear at the competition?

As this is a National Level competition, you will need to wear IPF Approved Equipment. See the Equipment Policy & Approved List page for more details.

As with all domestic competitions, no International Singlets may be worn at this event.

I’m an NIPF lifter and haven’t received an invite, what should I do?

We may be missing some NIPF totals and member’s age details from 2018.

If you have put up a valid total in an NIPF event between October 2017 and July 2018 then simply email championships@irishpowerliftingfederation.com and include your NIPF membership details, date of birth, and a link to the relevant competition results clearly showing your total and the date of the competition.
