As a member nation of the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF), we are wholly committed to protecting the integrity of the sport and this is maintained by enforcing strict doping control systems in line with the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA).
As mentioned earlier this year at the annual general meeting (AGM) in 2022, the IrishPF signed an Anti-Doping agreement with the IPF which I am delighted to say has increased the number of in and out of competition testing we are completing. A full report of the year will be given at next year’s AGM.
Clean sport depends on everyone having the know-how to speak out when something’s wrong. The Anti-Doping Officer and Executive Committee would like to highlight to its members the process for reporting potential breaches of anti-doping rules.
WADA SpeakUp! – A global reporting tool run by WADA.
All information is submitted to and reviewed by WADA before determining whether to share with the National Anti-Doping Organization (NADO) of the country or International Federation (IF). This process can take some time before a NADO/IF is given the information.

If the person is comfortable they can send the report to the IrishPF (firstname.lastname@example.org) or directly to IPF Anti-Doping (email@example.com). The information would be received directly by the IrishPF Anti-Doping Officer/Canadian Center for Ethic in Sport and the investigation process would start immediately.
If concerned about anonymity, a private email address can be set up to send information and this option would also allow contact for follow-up information or clarification. Please note all information received would be handled with the highest level of confidentiality.
If you have any further questions regarding the above please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
