Thanks to our feedback and the concerns also raised by other IPF affiliates, the Executive Committee of the International Powerlifting Federation has agreed to postpone the implementation of the updated 2026 Technical Rulebook. It will now come into effect on the 1st of March pending review, explanatory notes and justification for each change.
The website will be reverted to the 2025 Rulebook and is what we will be following for the February Open competition.
