Purpose

This policy outlines what constitutes a recognised IrishPF club for the 2026 season. The focus
for 2026 is to establish a formal club register to support Best Club awards, the Team League,
and long-term progression toward Sport Ireland recognition

Club Definition (2026)

For 2026, an IrishPF club is:
● Any club registered via Clubforce
● Registration is open and unrestricted; anyone may register a club
● No regulatory or governance requirements apply for 2026

Registration

Clubs must register via Clubforce. A €15 club registration fee applies for 2026. Registration
places the club on the IrishPF club register.

Eligibility & Recognition

Registered clubs will:
● Be eligible for Best Club awards and Team League rankings in 2026
● Be selectable by lifters during competition entry
● Appear on Lifting Cast and competition flights
Only registered clubs are eligible for awards and rankings.

Club Communication

Registered clubs will be added to an official IrishPF club mailing list. This list will be used to
share updates and communicate any future club requirements.

This policy applies to 2026 only and will be reviewed ahead of 2027. Information regarding any
requirements for 2027 will be communicated in due course
