IrishPF AGM 2026

The Irish Powerlifting Federation AGM 2026 will be held at 11:00 on Sunday, March 29th 2026 online (via Zoom) .

If you wish to attend and vote at the AGM, you must be a current member in good standing of the Irish Powerlifting Federation by Friday, March 27th 2026. The link to the AGM will be emailed out to all members the following day, Saturday, 28th March.

Membership must be purchased on Clubforce. Anyone who wishes to have their say, but won’t be competing this year, can purchase Pavilion membership at a reduced rate.

Summary of Timeline

  • Until midnight on Friday 13th March: use this form to submit a Motion or Query
  • Until midnight on Friday 20th March: use this form to nominate yourself or somebody else for an Operating Committee role or this form to nominate yourself or somebody else for an Executive Committee role.
  • Monday 23rd March: The AGM Agenda, Motions and Nominations will be published online
  • By Friday 27th March: Make sure you have purchased IrishPF membership in order to be eligible to attend and vote at the AGM
  • Saturday 28th March: Members will be sent the link for the AGM – only members will be allowed to attend and vote at the AGM
  • Sunday 29th March at 11:00 on Zoom: IrishPF AGM 2026

Motions & Queries

You can submit Motions & Queries until midnight on Friday, March 13th.

Only motions from active members will be accepted. A full list of Motions and Queries will be published for public review on Monday, March 23rd.

Committee Nominations

Nominations for the Operating Committee and Executive Committee are open until Friday, March 20th.

Nominations will also be accepted from the floor during the AGM for any roles which do not have a valid nominee by the time of the election.

Please use this form to nominate yourself or somebody else for a Committee role. The IrishPF relies exclusively on volunteers and the Committee are the backbone of that work.

Operating Committee

The following Operating Committee roles are up for election at this year’s AGM as all Operating Committee terms are for one year: 

  • Anti-Doping Officer
  • Competition Secretary
  • Competition Directors
  • Operations Manager
  • Social Media Officer
  • Marketing & Sponsorship Officer
  • Website Officer
  • Records and Membership Officer
  • Volunteer Managers
  • National Children’s Officer

Executive Committee

All of the Executive Committee roles are up for election at this year’s AGM and the term is for two years: 

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Treasurer
  • General Secretary

Team Managers

We are also putting a call out for a Bench Team Manager.

The team managers work closely with the Head Coaches and Coaching Team. They are responsible for all administration, logistics, and coordination for the National Team. These are vital roles in the success of our international athletes.

If you are interested in applying for this role, please contact Nathan and the current Executive Committee will choose the candidates, as this is not a member-voted role.
